
Armenian Minister of Education, French Ambassador Discuss French Language Classes in Public Schools
Armenian Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Vahram Dumanyan and newly appointed French Ambassador to Armenian Anne Louyot met today in Yerevan and stressed the need for greater cooperation between the two countries.
Dumanyan, according to a statement released by his office, said that Paris and Yerevan are drafting a cooperation document that will launch joint education, science and culture programs.
"Relations between our two countries includes a full agenda, so I will do my best to deepen cooperation in the fields of education, science, culture, sports and youth,” Louyot said.
The two discussed a program to offer more French language classes in Armenian public schools.
