Armenia today appointed Arsen Avagyan to replace Artashes Tumanyan as the country’s ambassador to Iran.

Avagyan had been serving as Head of the Department of Bordering Countries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

A ministry statement doesn’t specify any reason for the change of ambassadors.
