Armenian President Armen Sarkissian today awarded Edele Hovnanian, president of the Hirair and Anna Hovnanian Foundation, the Services to the Motherland Medal (second class) for her support to Armenia, the strengthening of Armenia-diaspora ties, and contribution to the preservation of Armenian identity.
