Artsakh to Tighten Anti-Coronavirus Restrictions
Noting the rising number of coronavirus cases in the country, Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan today announced that existing restrictions designed to prevent the spread of the virus will be tightened.
Harutyunyan made the announcement at a government meeting today in Stepanakert during which Artsakh Minister of Health Mikayel Hayriyan reported on the health situation in the country.
Hayriyan, according to a statement released by Harutyunyan’s office, said Covid-19 infection rates increased ten-fold in October.
The statement does not specify what restrictions are now in place in Artsakh to stem the spread of the virus.
