Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan today met with UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia Shombi Sharp who is completing his mission in Armenia.

Mirzoyan, according to his office, thanked Sharp for the work carried out during his mission in Armenia and wished him success in his future endeavors.

Efforts to aid the people of Artsakh affected by the 44-day war were discussed.

"In this context, Minister Mirzoyan stressed the need for international organizations, including specialized UN bodies, to ensure unimpeded access to Artsakh," a ministry statement reads.
