Artsakh Parliament Factions Urge Minsk Group to Condemn Azerbaijani Civilian Attacks

Artsakh National Assembly factions issued a statement today regarding the November 8 shooting of civilian workers near Shushi by Azerbaijani troops.

The factions want the OSCE Minsk Group to condemn such actions by Azerbaijan, and urge Russian peacekeeping forces, the armed forces of the Republic of Artsakh and other law enforcement agencies to take strict measures to prevent continued attacks on civilians.

The statement says that the November 8 incident, in which one worker was killed and three wounded, proves that the realization of the right of the Artsakh Armenians to live safely and with dignity in the homeland is possible only in the case of the international recognition of the Artsakh Republic.

The statement was signed by Democratic Party of Artsakh, Armenian Revolutionary Federation, Justice, United Motherland and Free Motherland-UAC factions.
