The Armenian Apostolic Church’s Supreme Spiritual Council announced today that coronavirus vaccinations “do not pose a spiritual risk.”

The Council, is a statement, says that given the rise of coronavirus infections and deaths in Armenia, personal freedom restrictions must be subordinated in the name of public health.

The Council called on health authorities to take measures to prevent the spread of conflicting information about the benefits of the vaccine and to increase the effectiveness of the fight against the epidemic and reiterated its call for all preventive measures to be taken to overcome the epidemic.
