Armenian Security Council Secretary, French Ambassador Discuss Border Situation
Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan and French Ambassador to Armenia Anne Louyot met today in Yerevan and discussed ongoing tensions along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and today’s Azerbaijani incursion across the border.
The two, according to a statement released by Grigoryan’s office, along discussed the release of Armenian POWs and civilians held in Azerbaijan.
Grigoryan stressed that the Nagorno Karabakh issue is not politically settled.
"In this context, the role of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs for a peaceful and comprehensive settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was underlined,” the statement reads.
