Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan and Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Abbas Badakhshan Zohourimet today in Yerevan and discussed the outbreak of fighting along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

"Both sides expressed confidence that border tensions could be reduced as soon as possible and that a peaceful settlement process could begin," reads a statement released by Grigoryan’s office.
