Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan, during a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Shoygu, said that today’s Azerbaijani military incursion into Armenia is a gross violation of the November 9, 2020 trilateral statement and endangers the whole negotiation process.

Shoygu, according to a statement released by the Armenian Defense Ministry, said he is ready to make every effort to end the fighting, facilitate the return of Armenian POWs held by Azerbaijan, and resolve all outstanding issues.
