The Armenian parliamentary opposition Hayastan faction today announced that it will suspend its participation in all international organizations and will not attend meetings organized outside Armenia to protest what it describes as a government policy to restrict its activities.

The faction, in a Facebook post, says that while Hayastan MPs have been formally included in various parliamentary delegations, none have been given the chance to participate.

“The reason is the clear illegal detention of our fellow MPs, the illegal restriction of the movement of other MPs, including those included in the delegations,” the post reads.
