Armenian, Russian Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Issues
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Russian FM Sergey Lavrov today, by telephone, discussed issues related to the implementation of the statement released by the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan following their meeting in Sochi on November 26.
At the meeting, Vladimir Putin, Nikol Pashinyan and Ilham Aliyev agreed to take steps to increase the level of stability and security on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border and to establish a bilateral commission to delineate and demarcate the border.
On November 26, the three reaffirmed their commitment to the further and consistent implementation and unconditional observance of all the provisions of the November 9, 2020 declaration and January 11, 2021 statement.
