Armenian Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan and Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergei Kopyrkin met today in Yerevan and discussed the plight of Armenian POWs and detainees in Azerbaijan.

Tatoyan, according to a statement released by his office, praised ongoing cooperation with the Russian Embassy to exchange information on the protection of the rights of Armenians in Russia.

Tatoyan also noted that his office is closely working with the Federal Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Tatiana Moskalkova.

The two agreed to continue their cooperation and exchange of information in the field of human rights.
