Turkey, Armenia Normalization Talks Set for January 14 in Moscow

The Armenian Foreign Ministry Special today announced that envoys from Turkey and Armenia will hold the first round of talks aimed at normalizing ties in Moscow on Jan. 14.  

“The first meeting of the special representatives of Armenia and Turkey will be held on January 14 in Moscow,” Vahan Hunanyan, a spokesman for the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wrote on Facebook. 

Armenia’s special envoy is deputy parliamentary speaker Ruben Rubinyan. Turkey will be represented by former Turkish ambassador to the U.S. Serdar Kılıç.
