Armenian President Armen Sarkissian left for the United Arab Emirates today on a working visit and is scheduled to discuss business cooperation and investment matters with the Gulf country leaders.

Sarkissian, according to a statement released by his office, will visit the Masdar Scientific-Industrial Center. The Masdar company has launched its first investment program in Armenia's renewable energy sector as part of a 200-megawatt photovoltaic plant construction project.

Sarkissian will also take part in the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2022 international forum.

The Armenian president will be the keynote speaker at the Youth4Sustainability conference in Abu Dhabi.
