Armenia Considering Turkish Invitation to Diplomatic Forum
The Armenian Foreign Ministry reports that it is considering a Turkish government invitation to attend the Antalya Diplomatic Forum scheduled to take place in March.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has invited Greece, Israel and Egypt to the second meeting of the forum launched by Turkish President Erdoğan last June.
Ministry Spokesperson Vahan Hunanyan said the ministry is discussing the expediency of the Armenian foreign minister’s participation in several events he’s been invited to.
According to the Communications Directorate of the Turkish Presidency, the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF) is a platform that facilitates debate on global and regional issues and brings together officials and non-state actors.
