Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, at a joint press conference today in Yerevan with visiting Austrian Minister of European and Foreign Affairs Alexander Schallenberg, said that Armenia believes that the border with Turkey should open and diplomatic relations between the two countries must be established without any preconditions.

Mirzoyan said that Armenia’s position hasn’t changed over the past three decades.

“It is with this very expectation that we have again engaged in the process of dialogue,” he said.

Schallenberg, accompanied by Mirzoyan, visited Yerevan’s Armenian Genocide Memorial and laid a wreath at the eternal flame.
