Armenian Human Rights Defender Kristinne Grigoryan today said she’s contacted her Ukrainian counterpart and the Armenian Embassy in Ukraine to assess the situation of Armenian citizens in Ukraine.

Grigoryan, in a statement, say’s her office has been barraged with calls about the plight of Armenians in Ukraine.

She notes that her office is taking necessary steps to follow up on reports that Armenians in Ukraine have been impacted by the war.

Recently, a video of a wounded soldier, presumably of Armenian origin, Hayk Tsaturyan, was widely circulated on the Armenian Internet.
