UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum visited the Armenian pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020 on March 9.

Originally scheduled for October 20, 2020 to April 10, 2021, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and organizers kept the name Expo 2020 for marketing purposes. 

“Sheikh Mohammed was introduced to the Tree of Life, a handmade symbol of Armenia’s centuries-old survival His attention was also drawn to the ancient Armenian manuscripts and books, especially the 12th century Narek manuscript    and the Friday Book, the first published Armenian book.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is the Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai.
