Armenian, Georgian Foreign Ministers Meet in Tbilisi; Discuss Economic Cooperation
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, who is in Tbilisi on a working visit, today met with Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of Georgia David Zalkaliani.
The two, according to a statement released by Mirzoyan’s office discussed promoting economic relations and prospects for increasing trade between the two countries, as well as prospects of cooperation in the field of transport communication.
The two discussed regional and international security matters.
Mirzoyan briefed his counterpart on the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey and presented the situation along the Karabakh Line of Contact, stressing that Azerbaijani troops must withdraw to their previous positions and adhere to the November 9, 2020 ceasefire agreement.
Mirzoyan also presented Armenia’s position regarding the launch of negotiations on a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan with OSCE Minsk Group mediation
