Armenian Human Rights Defender Kristinne Grigoryan today participated in a discussion entitled "Security Sector Governance and Reform - Ensuring Effective Security Sector Oversight” in Geneva organized by the Geneva Center for Security Sector Governance (DCAF).

Grigoryan, during a panel entitled "Human Rights in the Armed Forces and the Role of Defense Institutions", spoke about the role of her office to protect human rights in Armenia’s military.

Grigoryan, according to a statement released by her office, noted the challenges her office faced during the Covid-19 pandemic and the 2020 Artsakh war and the steps taken to document Azerbaijani war crimes.
