Armenian Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan toured military units located in the south of Armenia on April 28 to inspect their combat readiness and steps taken to strengthen their defensive capabilities.

Papikyan, according to a ministry statement, met with military trainers and spoke with soldiers about conditions at the units.

Papikyan instructed unit commanders to correct all shortcomings revealed during the inspection tour.
