Catholicos Garegin II and Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan met today in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and discussed the challenges facing the Armenians of Artsakh.

Harutyunyan, according to an Etchmiadzin press release, expressed his gratitude to Catholicos GareginII for his constant support of Artsakh.

During the discussion, specific reference was made to the works of the Artsakh Armenian Church Diocese and preserving Armenian cultural and historical sites in   territories under Azerbaijani control.
