Armenian Soldier Committed Suicide; 2 Others Arrested for "Humiliating" Him
Armenia’s Investigative Committee (IC) today reported that serviceman Argishti Yeghyan, whose body was found with a gunshot wound in the chest at an eastern military base yesterday, committed suicide.
The IC, in a statement, says that two soldiers at the military base have been arrested on suspicion of “insulting and humiliating” Yeghyan, thus provoking him to take his own life.
An official investigation of the incident continues.
