
Brussels Trilateral Meeting: Agreement Reached to Jump Start Border Demarcation
At yesterday’s trilateral meeting in Brussels between Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and EU Council President Charles Michel, agreements were reached on further steps to open transportation links in the South Caucasus and to jump start the work of the border demarcation and security commission.
The Armenian Foreign Ministry writes that issues related to the negotiation process to normalize relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, humanitarian matters, and the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict were also discussed.
An agreement was reached to continue the trilateral meetings, with a similar meeting scheduled for July or August.
