She’s the Heritage Party MP who won’t be going back to parliament due to her defeat at the polls on May 6.

Mrs. Bakhshyan was voted to Armenia’s parliament in 2007 on the Heritage Party slate. She serves as a member of the party’s central administration.

Born in Yerevan, 1947, Bakhshyan is a graduate of Yerevan State University Department of Physics. She's a widower with three children.
