Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan today hosted a delegation led by Artsakh Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Anahit Hakobyan.

The parties, according to a statement released by Simonyan’s office, discussed the need to enhance cooperation between Yerevan and Stepanakert in the education and science sectors.

They also discussed humanitarian issues in Artsakh and the protection of Armenian historical and cultural sites in areas now under Azerbaijani military control.

Attending the meeting were Sisak Gabrielyan, Chairman of the Armenian National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport and Chairman of the Armenian National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Aram Harutyunyan.
