Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II today, at the Etchmiadzin Mother See, met with those who arrived in Armenia to attend an international conference entitled “Human Rights and Responsibility. Consequences of War” organized by the Truth and Justice Center (TJC).

TJC President Gor Mnatsakanyan, according to a statement released by the Mother See, said lawyers and leading international law experts from sixteen countries had arrived in Armenia to discuss international human rights violations in Artsakh Armenians and the issue of POWs and displaced Armenians resulting from the 2020 Karabakh war.

Catholicos Garegin II stressed the importance of the international conference, especially in these difficult times for the Armenian people, and expressed hope that lawyers and international law experts will address the challenges facing Armenia and Artsakh and defend the just rights of the Armenian people on the international stage.
