Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan today met with a delegation led by Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin who is in Armenia to attend a session of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.

The two, according to a statement released by Simonyan’s office, exchanged views on Armenian-Russian interstate, allied cooperation over the past years, and focused on cooperation in the military-political and military-technical spheres.

 Both sides expressed satisfaction with the level of Armenian-Russian cooperation in the CIS Interparliamentary Assemblies, the CSTO and Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) Parliamentary Assemblies and other international platforms.
