European Council President Charles Michel and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev spoke by telephone today and discussed issues related to the May 22 Brussels meeting attended by them and Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan.

"Discussed all the issues of the Brussels agenda of the Armenian-Azerbaijani dialogue with the President of Azerbaijan. I emphasized that a stable, safe and peaceful South Caucasus is important for the EU," Michel wrote in a Twitter post.

Michel wrote, “We will continue support in addressing humanitarian, connectivity & border issues, as well as a future peace agreement.”
