Negotiations are underway regarding a possible meeting between Armenia Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

Eduard Aghajanyan, Chairman of the Armenian National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, told reporters that, as far as he knows, diplomats are pursuing the issue but he didn't say when such a meeting might take place.

Aghajanyan is an MP in the parliament's pro-government Civil Contract faction.
