An explosion ripped through Yerevan’s Surmalu market today, killing two and wounding sixty at last count.

The Armenian Ministry of Emergency reports that a fireworks warehouse at the market caught fire, causing the powerful explosion.

Update: The latest official death toll stands at three. 25 others are reported missing.
