
Pashinyan, Putin Discuss Karabakh Situation
Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin, by telephone today, discussed the situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.
According to Putin’s office, the two stressed the importance of implementing the trilateral agreements between the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan of November 9, 2020, January 11, and November 26, 2021.
Putin and Pashinyan also touched upon “some topical issues of further development of the relations of strategic partnership and alliance” between their countries, the statement adds without elaborating.
The Armenian government’s press office released an essentially identical readout of the call.
