Police Arrest Four in Yerevan Market Blast Investigation
Armenian law enforcement has arrested four people as part of an ongoing investigation into the August 14 fire and explosion that killed sixteen at Yerevan’s Surmalu Market.
Two have been charged with violating fire safety regulations (Criminal Code, Article 357) and two others with causing death by negligence (Criminal Code, Article 165).
Yerevan Prosecutor's Office has not released the names of those arrested.
