Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan has congratulated Liz Truss on becoming the United Kingdom's new prime minister, wishing her success in the post.

“I am confident that under your leadership, as well as thanks to your rich experience in public administration, the United Kingdom will continue to develop and prosper, bringing its substantia contribution to overcoming global challenges,” Pashinyan wrote in his message to Truss.

“Armenia attaches great importance to the further development and deepening of multi-layered cooperation with the United Kingdom, based on democratic values, practical interests and mutual respect,” Pashinyan wrote, adding that this year marks the thirteenth anniversary of diplomatic relations between London and Yerevan.
