Artsakh Human Rights Defender Gegham Stepanyan reports that Azerbaijani troops opened fire on the Artsakh villages of Karmir Shkuka and Taghavard today, hitting several houses.

No civilian casualties were reported.

“These actions are further proof of Azerbaijan’s criminal behavior against the life, physical and psychological integrity of the people of Artsakh, of its policy of ethnic cleansing carried out against the people of Artsakh that seeks to terrorize the people living in Artsakh and disrupt their normal life and activities," Stepanyan writes in a statement.
