The Armenian defense ministry today reports that while Azerbaijani military units continue targeting Armenian civilian settlements along the border, the intensity of Azerbaijani shelling has significantly decreased.

The ministry, in a statement, says that Azerbaijani special units are trying to achieve “positional advances” along parts of the border, especially near Nerkin Hand, Verin Shorzha, Artanish and Sotk.

The ministry says it is verifying the number of Armenian losses.
