Armenia-Iran Railway a No Go
The much heralded Armenia-Iran railway appears dead in the water. Victor Rebets, CEO of the South Caucasian Railway Company, made the announcement to reporters in Yerevan yesterday.
The railway, a project that was in the news a year or so ago and which was envisaged to cost a whopping $1 billion, was heavily promoted by the Armenian government.
