Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and French President Emmanuel Macron today, by telephone, discussed the situation along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.

Pashinyan, according to his office, presented details about the situation created as a result of the aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against the sovereign territory of Armenia. 

Pashinyan noted that despite relative tranquility at the border, the situation remains very tense.

Macron reaffirmed his willingness to promote dialogue and peace.

Pashinyan emphasized the importance of an adequate reaction of the international community to what is happening.
