Pelosi in Armenia: "We must, again, chose democracy"

U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi posted the following on her Facebook page after arriving in Armenia today.

Our Founders chose democracy over autocracy on Constitution Day 1787. For generations, we have protected and defended that choice.

Today, from the US to Ukraine to Taiwan to Armenia, the world faces a choice between democracy and autocracy – and we must, again, chose democracy.

Accompanying Pelosi are Chairman of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce Frank Pallone, and Representatives Anna Eshoo and Jackie Speier.

Pelosi’s delegation is scheduled to meet with PM Nikol Pashinyan and other government officials.
