Armenian Deputy Defense Minister Edvard Asryan and CSTO General Secretary Stanislav Zas met today in Yerevan and discussed the situation along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border following fierce fighting last week.

Zas’s visit follows that of a CSTO fact-finding delegation that arrived in Armenia on September 15.

Zas and Asryan, who also serves as Chief of Staff of Armenia’s Armed Forces, discussed the work carried out by the fact-finding delegation.

The Armenian Defense Ministry, in a statement, provided no details on today’s meeting.
