French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu, in a Facebook post, says that France will soon send a delegation to Armenia to assess the situation along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.

The announcement follows Lecornu’s meeting in Paris today with Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan.

 “We discussed the situation on the border with Azerbaijan, where hostilities must end and Azerbaijani forces return to their initial position,” Lecornu wrote.
