Armenian, Russian Security Council Secretaries Discuss Regional Stability
Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan and his Russian counterpart Nikolay Patrushev met in Moscow today and discussed South Caucasus security issues.
They met on the sidelines of the tenth meeting of the Secretaries of the Security Councils of the CIS member states.
Grigoryan, according to his office, described the September 13 Azerbaijani attacks against Armenia as a “large-scale invasion of sovereign Armenian territory and not a mere border clash”.
Patrushev emphasized the need to achieve peace in the region and called for greater cooperation between their councils.
