Pashinyan, Putin Discuss Bilateral Relations
Following yesterday’s CSTO Collective Security Council session in Yerevan, Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin met and discussed relations between the two countries.
In a statement released by Pashinyan’s office the two focused on economic cooperation, noting the increase of trade between Armenia and Russia.
At yesterday’s CSTO session, Pashinyan rebuked the Russian-backed military alliance for doing nothing to halt Azerbaijani aggression against Armenia.
Pashinyan said even though Armenia is a CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization) member, this fact did not stop Baku from pursuing aggressive actions against the country.
They reaffirmed the need to implement the trilateral agreements signed by Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan following the 2020 Artsakh war.
