Armenian Defense Ministry Delegation Attends NATO "Integrity Building" Conference

A delegation led by Armenian Ministry of Defense Secretary General Hamlet Batikyan, attended the NATO 2022 Building Integrity Conference recently held in Brussels.

The conference marks the fifteenth anniversary of NATO Building Integrity, which was established in November 2007 by the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council.

“Today, this work supports Allies, partner countries and NATO as an organization to promote good governance and implement the principles of integrity, transparency and accountability in the defense and security sector,” reads a NATO press release on the conference.

 on NATO international conference entitled "The role of building goodwill in the Armed Forces in the protection of democratic values and strengthening of public and institutional resilience" in Brussels.

The Armenian Defense Ministry says the conference was attended by leaders of   agencies responsible for the strengthening of good conduct, the fight against corruption and the protection of human rights in the defense departments of NATO member and partner countries, representatives of international organizations and leading expert centers.

“The best practices of strengthening morale in the armed forces of different countries, existing problems and systemic approaches to their solution were presented and discussed,” the ministry writes.
