Yerevan will get 98 new fire hydrants in 2023, in addition to the one hundred installed this year, in a bid to increase the effectiveness of firefighting service in the Armenian capital.

The Yerevan Municipality will also build workout facilities in several districts designed to get more people attuned to exercising on a regular basis.

The city plans to build a water cleaning plant on the Getar River that flows through the capital’s Avan District and joins the Hrazdan at the outskirts of Yerevan.
