Pashinyan to Russia for CIS Informal Meeting
Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan leaves for St. Petersburg tomorrow to attend an informal meeting of CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) member state leaders.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is also scheduled to attend the session, but no trilateral meeting of Putin, Aliyev and Pashinyan is planned on the sidelines of the summit.
The CIS, a regional intergovernmental organization formed following the dissolution of the Soviet Union, is comprised of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
