Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and visiting French National Assembly President Yaël Braun-Pivet today discussed cooperation between their two countries, stressing contacts on the parliamentary level.

Braun-Pivet is heading a delegation of French deputies that arrived in Armenia yesterday.

The two discussed the Lachin Corridor closure, and Mirzoyan, according to his office, said Baku seeks to ethnically cleanse Artsakh of its Armenian population.

Mirzoyan thanked France for its principled position criticizing Baku for its aggression against Armenia and for illegally closing the Lachin Corridor.
