1,102 Artsakh Children Can't Travel to Armenia for Medical Treatment

The Artsakh government reports that 1,102 children scheduled to receive medical treatment in Armenia have been prevented from doing so because of the Lachin Corridor’s ongoing closure.

847 suffer from congenital heart defects, 93 from bronchial asthma, 66 from periodic diseases, 80 from epilepsy and 16 from diabetes.

Ten Artsakh doctors have been prevented from returning from Armenia, leading to a shortage of physicians in the country.

Furthermore, more than 13,200 tons of vital goods would have reached Artsakh if it were not for the blockade, Only a small amount of the above has been delivered by the International Committee of the Red Cross and Russian peacekeeping troops.
