Artsakh State Minister Ruben Vardanyan, marking today’s public Army Day holiday, issued a statement paying respect to all those who died in the defense of the motherland.

“Today we celebrate the 31st anniversary of the formation of the Armenian National Army. This is a very important and significant holiday for all Armenians. The role and importance of the Armenian army is irreplaceable in the defense of the Republic of Armenia and, of course, in keeping Artsakh Armenian. And this is a guarantee of the defense of the Armenian world,” Vardanyan writes.

Army Day is a public holiday in Armenia and Artsakh.
